Suction-Cup Climber
A downloadable game for Windows
3 Levels. 1 Boss. Suction-Cups. Spikes. A dastardly eagle bent on taking your most prized hiker possession. Are you gonna take that sitting down? Didn't think so! So get on up that mountain and take back what's rightfully yours!
No Cups?
So, let's face it... alone you're pretty useless. But hey, you can still do the good ol' tried-and-true run and jump stuff, right? That's something.
With Cups?
Oh, you found some of your climbing gear, that's great! Pick up those cups and the real fun starts!
With them, you can cling to walls! Sorta like a delayed wall jump. Just one thing, though. You only get two cups for each jump. Whoever said climbing a mountain would be easy, right?
Try, Die, Repeat.
Yeah so turns out this whole mountain-climbing thing is actually really difficult. Steer clear of those spikes if you can. If you can't, well, you can at least enjoy the fireworks, right?
If you know what's good for you, you'll hit every checkpoint flag on your way. These harness the mystical powers of mountain-climberness and platformer tropes to make sure you don't flip out every time you have the misfortune of hitting a spike. You still might, but at least your PC will probably survive. Probably.
Kick that Eagle's Butt!
Eagles, who needs em' right? Well, probably the ecosystems they're a part of, but in your case there are more important things to consider. You've gotta get your backpack back (...pack)!
So face that eagle head-on and show him what you're made of!
...just not literally. Figure of speech. He'll rip you apart if you go toe to toe... just sayin'.

Good Job Adam! I finally got around to playing it. I made it to the end with 147 deaths. I found some jumps quite tight, and a bug where i could wrap around entire platforms although its inconsistent but overall a great effort.
Tried playing it, this game is so frustratingly difficult, ended up quitting near the end. A restart button would be a nice addition as I managed to get myself stuck in the wall once and had to start again from the beginning
Cool game dude. I'm a dev myself. It's always inspirational to see someone complete their game. Keep up the good work!
This game was a short, sweet, and fairly difficult platformer. Responsive controls, an interesting central game mechanic (the suction cups), a cute story, and a killer soundtrack. Overall, I enjoyed it and I recommend you give it a try.
